ZIP Folder Access Issues (Windows OS)

If your downloaded ZIP file won’t open or extract and you see messages like “Access Denied” or “You don’t have permission”, this is usually caused by an operating‑system permissions conflict. All products on this store are not password‑protected and should open normally on any device.

To fix the issue, manually assign full permissions to the ZIP file:

Right‑click the ZIP file → Properties

Go to SecurityEdit

Learn how to open ZIP folder if having access denied by non-assigned permission on Windows OS.

Select Add

Type Administrator, your device username, or SYSTEM

Click ZIP folder properties and assign user permissions in order to open ZIP folder.

Click Check Names (or Search) → OK

Enable Full Control by checking the empty boxes

Type username, administrator or SYSTEM and add the user group in order to open ZIP folder.

Click Apply / OK

You should now be able to open and extract your ZIP folder without any restrictions.

Still Having Trouble?

If the issue persists after updating permissions:

  • Try moving the ZIP file to a different folder (e.g., Desktop or Documents)
  • Temporarily disable antivirus software that may be blocking the file
  • Re‑download the ZIP using a different browser
  • Restart your device and try again

If none of these steps resolve the issue, feel free to contact support and include your order number so we can help quickly.
